With this ethos in mind, Oxford now brings you Hinterland. The Hinterland is next generation laminate technology, Trilaminate. Trilaminate construction leads to a higher abrasion results, stronger seams and a significantly better waterproof breathability ratings by incorporating our highest performing Dry2Dry™ laminated membrane. In fact it is our highest performing Dry2Dry™ membrane, 10,000mm/h20 and 10,000g/m2/24hrs.
The jacket has a Direct Vent™ which allows unrestricted direct-to-ready airflow through adjustable vents. Exhaust vents create airflow channels and allows body heat to dissipate.
Conventional protective fabrics often add bulk and restrict movement, but by using Trilam Active we add targeted four-way stretch areas for increased comfort whilst maintain high abrasion results, stronger seams and significantly better waterproof breathability ratings.

Polartec® Power Grid™ works on the thermal liner to manage moisture and provide warmth. Key placement provides stretch on the internal layers that match the Trilaminate Active outershell.
Integrated Dynamic Adjusters, located in key areas inside the garment automatically reduce excess bulk when the WarmDry™ thermal liner is removed.

Active construction is concealed in the Hinterland’s upper arm and torso; providing a tailored fit that adapts to the wearer’s movement.
TRILAM ACTIVE STRETCH
Trilam Active is strategically placed in the latissimus dorsi region of the upper back; offering high performance technical stretch in addition to trilaminate waterproofing.

The Hinterland’s flexibility is built from the ground up using Polartec® Power Grid™ stretch fabric in the flanks of the torso and upper back.

Power Grid™’s patented grid construction knit strengthens performance efficiency by increasing warmth and breathability, while also reducing fabric mass. These geometric patterns improve compressibility, wicking, and add technical style. By reinventing thermal warmth possibilities, Power Grid™ is a minimalist design that maximizes fabric performance. Geometric construction generates targeted touch points for our patented bi-component design to manage moisture. The next-to-skin surface is hydrophilic to absorb sweat vapour and transfer it outside. Then the outer surface disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation. The grid design also creates open air channels that improve breathability, and reduce fabric mass.
